Tribute to Star Trek legend Leonard Nimoy may he rest in peace.

I was going to do my next blog about the recent Oscars night, but after hearing some shocking news about the death of the legend Leonard Nimoy I decided to do my next one in tribute to him.

RIP Leonard Nimoy
Leonard Nimoy  first appeared on our screens in a 1951 film called " Queen for a day" and made his first tv debut in 1954 in an episode of Dragnet as Julius Carver. He did many tv and film appearances before starting in Star trek as the well known "Spock". He worked on Star trek for 79 episodes and he was nominated for prime time emmy award for best supporting actor in a drama series in 1967,1968 and 1969.
Aswell as appearing in additional star trek films, he also made guest appearances in the latest Star trek film along side Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto and done voice overs for Sentinel Prime in the Transformers Film.
My dad was a very big Star trek fan when I was growing up and we were both Spock fans, we would always try to practice the famous Vulcan Salute.Leonard did alot of work with both Tv and film from 1951 - present but I will always remember him along with others as " Spock "

RIP Leonard Nimoy my thoughts go out to your family and friends.

Film review

"The Accidental Husband" 8/10

Good Chick Flick
I love films and TV shows and enjoyed writing my review on the film along with others when I was a member of Lovefilm, So I thought I'd share my interest in films and reviews with others on my blog. Here is my first review I have written on a film I have just recentley watched so here goes.

I love Jeffrery Dean Morgan and a friend of mine recommended 'The Accidental Husband" to me as he is a fireman in it...Cheesy and sad...I know lol I am not a very big chick fan as my favourite genre is sci-fi and fantasy so I thought I would watch it ( Yes!...mainly for the fireman uniform ).

The film it's self is about a talk show host called DR Emma Lloyd ( played by the lovely Uma Thurman ) advise's one fan of her show to break up with her boyfriend Patrick ( Jeffrery dean Morgan ).Patrick sets to get revenge on the talk host by getting married to her through the internet. Oblivious  to this Emma and her fiancĂ© Richard ( Colin Firth ) go the  marriage office to apply for their marriage license to find out that she is already married.....So she sets out on a mission to find Patrick to get an annulment as her wedding day is fast approaching.. I will leave it there :p

The film has a few comical scenes in from all 3 actor's and the rest is romantic, The reason I gave the film a score of 8 is even though I found it a good chick flick to watch it didn't give me the "WOW" factor, I would certainly recommend it for you if you are planning a night in with the girls's and are not too fussed in missing bits if you having catch up's and giggles.

My new make from today, it took me 2hrs to do ( bit longer than I planned ) as the waeving of the seed beads seemed to take forever. But I made it and here it is my Betty Boop Keyring/ Bag charm.

Top picture shows where I have weaved and threaded seedbeads
on to a jump ring to add a funky look.
