Walking On Sunshine review

Walking On Sunshine

My Rating 2/10

80's Cheesy Love Story -

I Started watching this yesterday afternoon before work as a background noise while playing my 3Ds  hearing it was a rubbish film. After the first  couple of mins I thought I would watch it properly to see if the film was as bad as the reviews actually said....Even the NowTv rating was 1 1/2 stars out of  5.
The film, actors and story line was a right cheese fest the only thing that kept me watching it was the actual 80's songs in it, which I thought were a good selection.

The film seems to me like a mix of Grease and Mamma Mia this is why-

The film starts off with a young girl called Taylor who finds love while on holiday but had to leave to carry on life back home----- Sound familiar??
Just like with Sandy and Danny in Grease finding love on holiday and she had to return to Australia, then get reunited..

Sandy and Danny " Grease "

The rest of the film is just too similar to Mamma mia. 3 young girls returning to the same holiday  resort after 3 years and get reunited. Madie ( who is the sister ) finds love and plans to get married and invites Taylor back over to be there for the wedding.Taylor soon finds out that the man that Madie is planning on marrying is Raf the man that Taylor fell in love with on her holiday 3 years prior...But Madie is unaware of this but Taylor and Raf try to go on as normal for the sake of Madie.

I would watch this film if you love 80's music, because like I said that was the only thing that kept me watching. I f you do like these films just stick to Mamma Mia, Pitch perfect and Grease for now lol. As for being Leona Lewis's debut to acting... I think she should stick to music...sorry Leona..

Harry Potter Studio's

My first long drive

Harry Potter Studio's

Entrance of Harry Potter Studio's
Yesterday I took my dad on a 2hr and 20mins journey to Watford the home of Harry Potter studio's. I went last year with my friends but my dad like me is also a Harry Potter geek and really wanted to go. So I brought my dad for Christmas a ticket to go and see the making of, we decided to go the day after his birthday. I was really excited as I wanted to see the new attraction of the Hogwarts train and platform 9 3/4, only to find out when I got there that I was too early and the station opens on the 19th...oh well excuse to go again another time lol......I still enjoyed myself there and it was great to see my dad's face light up when he saw the surprise at the end.( I won't give it away what it is and ruin the surprise for other Harry Potter fan's that are thinking of going ). There are loads to look at and so many things you will learn about the film's that you didn't know . You can also try the famous butterbeer, which by the way to me tastes like cream soda with whipping cream on top.It is fun for all ages and you can spend hours walking around the studio's with jaw dropping sites and watch how the great film came to life on our t.v's.
Little Voldemort
My favourite part has got to be the creature and special affect's studio where you will see how they brought the creatures to life inc the little Voldermort who we see in the studio's moving and breathing, the effects are fantastic. Then from the creature studio it leads onto Diagon Alley, where you see the shops they used in the films including the Weasley brothers famous shop " Weasleys's  Wizzarding Wheeze's. you can buy the sweets from the shop with the bizzare names the Weasley's came up with, I brough some peppermint toads lol.
Make sure you bring plenty of cash for the Merchandise shop it is expensive but full of great gifts's for yourself and for others. I got myself a "Cornish Pixie Tshirt" and a RavenClaw mug.
Please follow the link below for the offical Harry Potter Studio's website for ticket informationhttp://www.wbstudiotour.co.uk/
